CVI 2020 Webinar Series: Advanced Imaging for TAVR, TMVR and Beyond

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of cardiologists, surgeons, internists, trainees, investigators, and allied health care workers who participate in the care of patients with coronary, peripheral, and structural cardiovascular diseases.

EDUCATIONAL GOAL

The goal of this activity is to provide participants with knowledge and state-of-the-art management information on how to evaluate and treat patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and valvular, structural heart and arrhythmic heart disease.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Discuss advanced imaging tools and techniques to prevent, identify and treat valvular disease
  • Explain how the utilization of cardiac CT, AI-guided echo and fusion imaging can all help play a role in the advancements of optimal treatment for structural heart disease
  • Identify step-by-step CT acquisition, analysis and interpretation
  • Describe basic echo measurements and how to interpret images for easy navigation
  • Evaluate the benefits of fusion imaging to navigate

ACCREDITATION

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of CMEsolutions and Cardiovascular Innovations Foundation.
